The Credit Security Plan, offered by Educational Community Credit Union, helps relieve the financial stress and worry related to making loan payments when your life takes an unexpected turn. With the Credit Security Plan, your consumer or home equity loan payments will be cancelled or suspended without penalty, added interest, or being reported as delinquent to the credit bureau. Some of the important items covered in this plan are disability, family leave, hospital stays, involuntary unemployment and more.

Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP)
Guaranteed Auto Protection, or GAP, offers protection against financial liability for individuals who finance a new or used vehicle. GAP protects against financial loss in the event that your vehicle is damaged beyond repair (totaled) or stolen and never recovered. With GAP the deficiency balance is covered.

Mechanical Breakdown Protection
The cost vehicle repairs and associated labor continues to escalate with the increasing complexity of new vehicles. As a result, we are offering a means of protecting your vehicle beyond the manufacturer's warranty period. Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP) offers you several plans that provide this coverage at prices far less than the car dealerships.
