If we suspect any form of compromise, we will ask you to come into a branch and work personally with a Member Representative on site to resolve the issue.

PHISHING ATTEMPT USING CU SWIRL LOGO AND CUSC NETWORK
AND A SURVEY BY WHICH YOU WIN $50
Recently, our Shared Branching Partner at Financial Service Centers Cooperative, Inc. alerted Educational Community Credit Union to the following phishing scam. You can reach the Financial Service Centers
Cooperative, Inc. at 1-800-509-1087 to report any emails which come to you.
Financial Service Centers Cooperative, Inc. has learned of an email circulating to the general public requesting personal member information by visiting a specific website and taking part in a survey for $50.00.
As you will see in the attached fraudulent survey, (click here for fraudulent survey sample Credit Union Service Corporation (CUSC) - Customer Survey.pdf), the phony survey contains the CU Swirl Logo and the CUSC
verbiage; providing much of the "look and feel" of these organizations. This is not a valid request for information from CUSC or CU Service Centers network and members should never send sensitive information such as passwords, credit card numbers, social security numbers, secret words, or PINs in an email or submit them through a website. In addition, members should never click directly on links in an email that requests sensitive information, even if they recognize and trust the address. These links can redirect you to a fake -- though very real looking - spoofed web site.
